Article 1. Observance of Basic Items
1. In using this system, customers shall observe the general manners and morals and the technological rules for the use of the Internet.
2. Any use of the system for the purpose of gaining a profit, such as charging fees for making arrangements on behalf of others,
regardless of the reason, is strictly forbidden.
Article 2. Events Resulting from Customers' Computer Settings
This system is designed assuming that customers' character display, E-mail, printer, and other computer settings are all proper.
Benesse House (hereinafter, the "Hotel") does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for the operations results and for subsequent
events based thereon when customers' computer settings are not proper. Additionally, the Hotel does not accept any responsibility
whatsoever in cases when this system does not operate properly and for subsequent events based thereon in cases when customers'
computer settings are proper but the system malfunctions caused by customers' computer environments or other factors that are
beyond this Hotel's control.
Article 3. Cautions for the Use of This System
Reservations made through this system do not necessarily supersede those made through other systems or web sites, including telephone,
fax, E-mail, and web sites not operated by Benesse House. Please understand in advance that your reservation may not be accepted
due to full occupancy or other reasons.
Article 4. Method for Making Reservations Using This System and Completion of Reservations
1. Reservations using this system must be made using the forms and procedures specified by the Hotel. Reservations may be invalid
in cases when required data are not input into said forms.
2. This system allows you to make reservations directly with the hotel through the Internet. Room availability can be checkedwith or
without an account ID, but an ID is necessary for making reservations.
3. Reservations made using this system shall be deemed concluded and effective the moment the reservation completion screen was
displayed.
Article 5. Becoming a Member
1. Please fill out the customer registration form. A confirmation of your registration will be sent to your E-mail account.
Your membership account will then be activated.
2. The registration is 100% free. There are no annual fees or other charges whatsoever.
3. Your personal information can be changed or deleted. To do so, please click on the change account form.
Article 6. Cancellation/Change of Reservations Using This System
1. If there is any cancellation/change with your reservation, please modify the reservation details online as soon as possible.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if you cannot update your reservation online for any reasons,
please contact the hotel directly. No confirmation will be issued in this case.
Article 7. Cancellation Fees
The payment of a cancellation fees shall be settled between the customer and the Hotel, in accordance with the charges regulations
stipulated by the Hotel. Please contact the Hotel for details.
■ Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees will be incurred in accordance with the below policy.
‐10 days - 2 days prior to the arrival : 50 % charge
‐After 1 day prior to the arrival or no-show : 100 % charge
* Cancellations fees will be incurred from 20 days or 30 days prior to arrival respectively for those who have reserved 5 to 10 rooms or 11 to 65 rooms.
Article 8. Self-Responsibility of System Users
1. In the use of this system, customers are responsible for all acts they conduct and all acts conducted under their E-mail accounts,
and for all consequences of said acts, regardless of any negligence and of whether customers themselves conduct said acts.
Also in the use of this system, when customers inflict damages on third parties, customers are responsible for resolving the resulting
conflicts with third parties at their own expense, except when said damages are caused by the negligence of the Hotel.
2. When users commit any of the following acts and consequently inflict damages on the Hotel or on this system, the Hotel
will demand payment of compensation for all damages from said users.
- When users violate the terms of these Terms of Use or of other hotel rules and usage regulations stipulated by this Hotel
- When users transmit or insert harmful computer programs
- When users transmit or insert third party information
- When users utilize the system for purposes other than personal use without the express permission of the Hotel
- When users otherwise conduct acts that are in violation of the effective laws or regulations of Japan
3. Users are responsible for the use and management of the reservation numbers issued when they make reservations under the
stipulations of Article 4, and the password issued when they make membership registrations under the stipulations of Article 5.
Users are strictly prohibited from conveying or loaning these reservation numbers, passwords to third parties, and from
using other guests' reservation numbers or passwords.
Article 9. Protection and Disclosure of Personal Information
Customers' personal information gained by the Hotel shall be used in accordance with the stipulations of the Privacy Notice for our visitors and guests and within
the range of the Purposes of Use stipulated by this site.
Article 10. System Suspension
The Hotel may temporarily suspend this system, without warning, under the following circumstances.
- When necessary for the performance of system repairs or maintenance
- When natural disasters or other emergencies occur, or may occur, making it difficult to administer this site
- Whenever the temporary suspension of this system is otherwise deemed necessary for the administration of this system
Article 11. Changes to the Content of This System
The administration and content of this system may be changed, without giving prior notice to customers, whenever deemed
necessary by the Hotel.
Article 12. Our Responsibilities
1. We will compensate for damages caused to you with this contract IF the hotel is proven to be liable.
2. We carry insurance against fire.
Article 13. Governing Law
The governing law concerning this system shall be the law of Japan.
Article 14. Effectiveness of These Terms of Use
1. These Terms of Use shall come into effect from June 1, 2015.
2. The Hotel may revise or change the Terms of Use at any time because of changes in the Hotel's socioeconomic situation or
facilities conditions, without giving prior notice to customers. Said revisions or changes shall come into effect from the moment
they are displayed on this system.
3. Please confirm the contents of these Terms of Use without fail each time you utilize this system. Whenever the contents of
these Terms of Use are changed, the prior versions of these Terms of Use will be rendered void and only the revised versions
will be valid.
Article 15. Others
Regarding other Terms and Conditions, the clauses for accommodation defined by the hotel will apply.
