■ About Benesse House
Benesse House opened in 1992 as a facility integrating a museum with a hotel, based on the concept “Coexistence of nature, art and architecture”.
The facility consists of four buildings, all designed by Tadao Ando: Museum, Oval (opened in 1995), Park and Beach (both opened in 2006).

■ Notice of Maintenance Closure
January-February 2026
* Benesse House Park and Beach will be closed for maintenance from Monday, 5th January, 2026 to Friday, 27th February, 2026.
May-June 2026
* Naoshima New Museum of Art will be closed for maintenance from Monday, 11th May, 2026 to Saturday, 6th June, 2026.
June 2026
* All art facilities in Naoshima will be closed for maintenance from Monday, 15th June, 2026 to Friday, 19th June, 2026.

* We do not have a waiting list. Please check the reservations page, where the availability is reflected in real time.
* The guests staying in Benesse House Museum, Park, and Beach are NOT allowed to enter the Oval Wing.
* All rooms at Benesse House are non-smoking (smoking areas are located outside the buildings).
* If you wish to make reservations for more than 4 rooms, please contact: Benesse House Group Counter.
* Overnight guests at Benesse House can enter the Benesse House Museum, including Valley Gallery, and Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery: Time Corridors free of charge.
* The following amenities are available during your stay;
   - Towels, Nightwear, Bathrobes, Slippers, Tooth brushes, Razors, Shampoo, Soap, Hair dryer, Minibar, Safe, and Bluetooth Speaker
   - (Available upon request) TV(JPY 1,000/stay), Humidifier, Iron, Basic skin care products (set of cleansing gel, face wash, lotion, and milky lotion)
